Building Transparency’s EC3 Now Integrates with cove.tool

cove.tool and Building Transparency come together to integrate cove.tool’s Carbon feature and Building Transparency’s Construction Calculator, EC3. 

Integrating across the entirety of the cove.tool platform (including analysis.tool, loadmodeling.tool, and revgen.tool), users will now be able to access EC3's free, open-access, global database of construction materials and the environmental impacts of those materials (as deemed by environmental product declarations (EPDs)), for a more efficient embodied carbon analysis. 

The partnership emphasizes the need for the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry to take steps towards sustainability in their operations. 

By leveraging Building Transparency's expertise in the EPD space and cove.tool's powerful design and analysis tools, architects, engineers, and builders can take meaningful steps to reduce embodied carbon emissions in building projects.  

The integration of EC3 into cove.tool is another step towards a more sustainable future for the construction industry, promoting collaboration and innovation in the field.
