TruexCullins Architects used cove.tool to retrofit a 33,000-square-foot warehouse into a sustainability-focused arts studio and community complex in Burlington, VT. Using data-driven energy modeling, the team optimized the building’s envelope, reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions.

cove.tool allowed the architects to test various design scenarios, leading to the integration of a continuous insulated façade that improved thermal performance. The project also explored innovative solutions, such as floating solar panels on a nearby barge canal, helping achieve net-zero energy goals while maintaining sustainability and affordability.
