Drexel Town Square Health Center

Project Summary

In collaboration with RTM Engineers, EUA Architects utilized cove.tool to optimize the energy use and daylight autonomy of a medical clinic design. By analyzing building orientation and energy performance, the team found that while orientation had minimal impact on predicted energy use intensity (pEUI), factors such as lighting loads and equipment played a more significant role.

cove.tool’s energy modeling helped refine the design, ensuring energy efficiency and cost-effective decisions. The platform enabled EUA to assess variables like insulation, glazing, and the potential for on-site renewable energy sources to achieve net-zero energy targets.
