YKK AP America Inc. and cove.tool have joined forces to simplify and expedite the process for architects to achieve their projects' carbon, cost, and energy performance objectives using revgen.tool.
YKK AP has become the first fenestration manufacturer to integrate its products into cove.tool's revgen.tool, a cloud-based solution that facilitates early engagement between building product manufacturers and design teams.
Beginning in Summer 2023, architects on the YKK AP website will gain access to real-time, project-specific performance analysis, allowing them to select YKK AP products that best align with their goals thanks to revgen.tool. Additionally, those using cove.tool will have access the YKK AP product catalog to help users decide on the best products for the projects.
The partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of low-carbon technologies in projects and supports YKK AP's goal to reducing carbon emissions by 50% by 2030.
